Your job purpose is to lead your team to achieve the Retail Objectives, creating an environment that delivers an exceptional customer experience by serving and selling in store and through all digital channels. Provide duty management cover as required.

Key Accountabilities
The Key Accountabilities describe the activities you will do within your role:

• Develop a selling culture within the team and maximise sales in store and through all digital channels
• Identify and exploit opportunities to drive sales performance and availability through regular review and probing of MI
• Set selling targets for your team and encourage your team to take part in store events
• Build strong relationships within the store, format and region to drive store sales performance, maximise footfall, share best practice and provide feedback to key stakeholders
• Lead the team to deliver right first-time implementation of all retail activity and deliver excellent visual standards of presentation

• Lead the team to deliver an exceptional customer experience through coaching, engagement and role modelling the service behaviours
• Lead the team to always put the customer first and ensure you and the team prioritise customer before task
• Deliver an environment where our customers are inspired to buy
• Use customer MI to understand the store customer profile and meet customer needs
• Contribute to Plan A activity and build strong relationships to support the local community

• Develop and lead a motivated team, celebrate success and recognise contribution
• Raise the performance and capability of the team through clear accountability, coaching and regular feedback. Drive improvements in performance, conduct and attendance in line with company policy
• Identify and develop talent through effective development planning to meet the store succession plans
• Own your personal development

• Support the Store Manager to deliver a safe and legal working environment for colleagues and customers, ensuring the required due diligence process is complete
• Deliver operational excellence throughout the business unit, drive productivity and look for opportunities to work efficiently and continuously improve
• Minimise stock and cash loss and take action to manage appropriate store operating costs
• Deliver the resource allocation, demonstrate and drive flexibility to meet customer and operational needs
• Support the delivery of business change
